Purchased bike for what I thought was a reasonable price, but the Kalamar Hybrid is well less than I expected. Constuction is poor, welds are marginal. No kick stand provided, the deraileur was so far out of tune it took over a half an hour to get it working properly. It comes with a front reflector that does not fit on anything. The owners manual and assembly guide are poorly written, so poorly they do not even put spaces between the words which makes it extremely hard to read. Save your money, I would avoid the China made Diamondback's.

First off, I am new to owning a bike. My first impression is the bike appears to be well built. For the price I think it is pretty decent deal. The only reason I gave it just three stars is that directions for assembly are terrible and it was missing part of the front brake assembly. The good news was I called Diamondback and they shipped me a whole new set of brakes quickly. Overall I think it is a great starter bike.
